Three Drum Chip Shop Award Noms!
We recently posted a blog called ‘COVID-19 Won’t Crush Our Creativity‘ and this is further proof of just that!
For those of you not familiar with The Drum Chip Shop Awards they celebrate pure, unadulterated creativity. It’s a platform where anything and everything is allowed, an awards show with no rules and no boundaries meaning the possibilities are endless!
Our creative team have done us all proud, submitting some fantastic work that has been recognised by industry leaders The Drum.
We have been nominated in three categories – Best Health, Best Ad From The Future and Best Press. See the nominations below…
Best Health – Pantone
We chose to put a positive spin on COVID-19 with this submission for ‘Coronavirus Blue’ on behalf of Pantone. With lockdowns across the world reducing pollution, transport and production in factories halting, this has led to China now being able to see the blue skies beyond the smog. Hopefully this will prove that pollution can be reduced and climate change can be managed.
Shame it took a pandemic to show us how.
Best Ad From The Future – Amazon Echo
When AI rises up against us, we’ll look back in amazement that we paid good money to bring it into our homes, and allowed it to gather information about us as individuals, and as a society. If we’re still around to look back, that is.

Best Press – Unicef
People often get distracted by Hollywood make believe and forget about what is really going on in the world. Not everything is part of a movie and we wanted to bring that to life in a powerful and effective way. Clever ad placement that really interacts with the blockbuster advert on the same spread makes this campaign.

And whilst COVID-19 means the boozy awards ceremony has been cancelled, we shall be celebrating in style (win or not) when the winners are announced on Friday 19th June.
