We are thrilled to announce we have been shortlisted for three Worcestershire Social Media Awards. We have been nominated for Best Social Media Marketing Company, Best Social Media Campaign and Best Use of YouTube.

The campaign that caught the eye of the judges was our ‘Keep Playing Your Part’ work for the Wyre Forest District Council.

The social media awards are used to identify those who are the best at using their social platforms to positively promote their businesses, charities, public sectors and community causes, and we did just that when continuing our partnership with the Wyre Forest District Council.

The campaign was launched in the early days of 2021 as we began to emerge from lockdown and take our first tentative steps back into normality.

With restrictions in place and having to keep in mind our client’s limits, we needed to create a cost-effective but successful campaign. So rising to the challenge like we always do, we organised and produced a budget-friendly photo and video shoot highlighting the region’s best known attractions through a YouTube campaign.

The results were fantastic. We reached over 320,000 local residents and visitors from the surrounding region, driving awareness of these fabulous local attractions, whilst also conveying an important public health message.

Kim Neville, Communications & Engagement Officer, Wyre Forest District Council:

“We were very happy to be working on this very important public health campaign with such a positive and creative team who are based within the district and have an in-depth knowledge of the local area.”

More information about the campaign can be found on our blog here. And you can view our series of YouTube ads here.

We are absolutely chuffed to be a finalist for the awards, especially for our Wyre Forest work, as it was a whole team effort, and most importantly a huge success for our client.

We can’t wait to attend our first ‘non-virtual’ awards ceremony this year, so make sure you join us for a glass of fizz on the 1st of July 2022. Register your place today.
