The Challenge:

Lextox, a company with a significant number of pop-up events scheduled for 2024, faced several challenges in executing these events effectively. Their primary pain points included:

  • Logistical Hurdles: The volume of events up and down the country, coupled with the need to transport and set up bulky pop-up displays and merchandise, proved to be a logistical challenge.
  • Staff Fatigue: The physical strain of setting up and dismantling displays, often in multiple locations, was leading to staff fatigue and reduced productivity.
  • Sales Team Focus: Sales team members were spending valuable time on logistical tasks rather than focusing on their core competency: sales.

The Solution:

To streamline the pop-up event process, we implemented a solution focused on portability, efficiency, and centralised management. Lextox entrusted us with the complete logistical management of their pop-up events. This included storing equipment and merchandise, transporting them to venues, and handling setup and dismantling. This freed their sales staff to focus exclusively on engaging customers.

We supported Lextox from the ground up, beginning with the design and production of their event stands. Features like shorter panels were incorporated to accommodate varying floor types, simplifying the setup and teardown process.

In-house printing provided greater control over production, leading to faster turnaround times and easier last-minute modifications. As we have storage facilities, we ensured all necessary merchandise and display components were readily available for each event. Regular maintenance, including replacing hanging strips, kept the displays in optimal condition. Stock checks also helped Lextox be efficient and prepared with the merchandise.

Beyond the build:

By implementing these solutions, Lextox was able to:

  • Optimise Staff Efficiency: Sales team members could focus on their primary role, resulting in increased sales and customer engagement.
  • Reduce Logistical Complexity: Streamlined processes and centralised storage significantly reduced the logistical burden.
  • Enhance Brand Consistency: Consistent branding and high-quality displays contributed to a positive brand image.
  • Improve Overall Event Performance: By addressing the underlying challenges, the company achieved greater success at its pop-up events.

This case study demonstrates how a strategic approach to event logistics can significantly improve the efficiency and impact of pop-up events.
