The challenge

In the crowded car rental market, standing out is a constant struggle. Europcar, a leading industry player, faced the challenge of promoting their new Electric Vehicle (EV) Guide and Knowledge Hub. With competitors investing heavily in social media and OOH campaigns, Europcar needed a unique approach to break through the noise and effectively reach their target audience.

Having partnered with Europcar for several years, we were presented with the exciting opportunity to tackle this challenge. Our goal was to creatively showcase a new section of their EV Guide, specifically the Knowledge Hub section, in a way that would engage their audience.

The Knowledge Hub is an interactive online resource designed to educate customers and potential EV users about all aspects of electric vehicles. It features a wide range of valuable content, including informative blogs, guides, and detailed insights into the various EV models available for hire. 

To effectively introduce this resource, Europcar needed a solution beyond a static mock-up. They sought something more dynamic, sleek, professional, and engaging that would visually highlight the hub’s key features, captivate viewers, and drive traffic to the site. This is where we stepped in, proposing a showcase video as the ideal medium to bring the Knowledge Hub to life, which could then be used within presentations or across social media and other digital channels.

 

What we did

After suggesting the promotional showcase video that aligned with Europcar’s recently updated brand image and effectively highlighted the Knowledge Hub’s most important features, our team developed a detailed storyboard highlighting each video aspect and how it would convey the intended message seamlessly and engagingly.

The video was designed to guide viewers through the Knowledge Hub’s various resources intuitively. It emphasised the educational content available, from in-depth blog posts about EV technologies to guides on using electric vehicles. The sleek design and high-quality production reflected Europcar’s new brand, with professional animations and transitions that provided a polished look. 

We worked closely with Europcar to ensure every visual and narrative element of the video met their expectations, providing updates at every step of the process, from initial design to final edits. The result was an impressive, visually compelling video that exceeded the original brief, making complex EV information easily digestible and engaging.

 

The Results

The outcome was a highly professional and dynamic video that successfully introduced the Europcar EV Knowledge Hub to existing and potential customers. The video met the brief and exceeded expectations, elevating the Knowledge Hub’s overall presentation and drawing attention to its valuable content.

The video will now be featured across multiple platforms, from Europcar’s website to social media, enhancing the visibility of their EV Guide, increasing engagement and traffic to the site, and enhancing the growing interest in their electric vehicle offerings.
