EE asked Citizen to create an Ambassador programme. The aim was to boost the Carphone Warehouse sales team’s knowledge of EE. Using WordPress and custom-built plug-ins, Citizen designed a web-based system that encouraged communication between audience and trainers. Four different user levels were needed with different access and commenting rights and a forum with tagging system and customer notifications with email alerts were included. Gamification was used to increase engagement in the form of competitions and a custom point and scoring system and leaderboard added a competitive element.
