Best of Summer 2021
It’s been a busy few months here at Citizen HQ, so we thought we’d take a look back at some of our favourite projects of the last few months.
EE & Sim Local Heathrow Campaign
One campaign, two of our clients. Sim Local sell sims to visitors to the UK looking for big data packs to keep in touch with loved ones back home. EE can offer just that and we were tasked with coming up with the messaging and key visual for the POS campaign. The campaign is soon to go live in all Sim Local airport locations across the UK.

We designed and built a high-end, stylish ecommerce website for DZine Upholstery this summer following their business pivoting because of the pandemic. The site is aimed at high net worth individuals looking for bespoke furniture and architects and interior designers specifying for their client interiors.
The results are a stunning website and a super happy client –“The Citizen team has helped to deliver a beautiful website that will hopefully push this arm of the business forwards as we ease our way out of lockdown. To help promote Europcar’s Flex offering, which is an alternative to car leasing, we designed and developed a catalogue site with flexibility at its heart.
Europcar needed an online solution that allowed them to tailor the range and price based on location and what promotions that location could be running at any one time.
So, under the WordPress umbrella platform, the client is now able to manage multiple iterations of the website with subtle differences in pricing depending on the Europcar location and current promotions being run by each location. See the final website here.
A complex problem, solved by our very brainy development team!
FINECLEAN is Worcestershire’s premier commercial cleaning outfit and they came to us wanting to target commercial cleaning contracts in the region.
James, our SEO & PPC Manager, proposed an SEO lead campaign targeting relevant and achievable keywords FINECLEAN could rank for.
The campaign has only been running for two months but it’s clearly working as the campaign has already generated impressive results including organic traffic growing by a whopping 231%.
Summer is usually the quietest time of year for FINECLEAN, but with Citizen’s help the company has had the highest number of genuine sales leads it has all year round.
